Retired finance and operations executive. Data analyst, economist, financial analyst, strategic planner, process engineer and public policy analyst.
I’m a number cruncher, systematizer and simplifier. I try to separate “the wheat from the chaff” and summarize data or issues to their essence. I provide recommendations that inevitably reflect my politics. I try to see “both sides” of issues and note other views.
I focus on less covered policy topics or areas where data is not reported by the news media. I live in Carmel, IN and often review local topics. Since the media focuses on sensational topics, I try to complement this by highlighting more “run of the mill” topics or the progress that modern U.S. society, industry and government make, in spite of their shortcomings.
